Adjunct Professor of Communication Studies
Jacqueline received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge. As an undergraduate, she actually planned on attending medical school, but it was an unfortunate situation that shifted her focus on becoming a doctor to helping doctors and medical staff communicate better. It was complete fate! From that moment on, Jacqueline focused her research in graduate school on health and interpersonal communication with hopes of understanding what is going on and how to fix it. Besides an interest in discussing and teaching health communication and interpersonal communication, she loves teaching public speaking! Public speaking is amazing! It gives you the confidence and skills to clearly and passionately say what you mean in every aspect of life. In her free time, she loves baking cookies, going to Disneyland, traveling, going on outdoor adventures with her fiancé, and hanging out with her family.
