FRNCH 102 ELEMENTARY FRENCH II

Prerequisite: FRNCH-101 or equivalent
Continues the study of the fundamentals of the French language,
emphasizing correct pronunciation and mastery of a
practical vocabulary, oral and written expression, and the study
of the cultures of the contemporary French-speaking world. Not

FRNCH 150 BEGINNING CONVERSATIONAL FRENCH

A beginning course for students with little or no background in French. Emphasis on understanding and speaking French in everyday situations, including vocabulary and phrases useful for studying and working in French-speaking countries.

FRNCH 201 INTERMEDIATE FRENCH I

Prerequisite: FRNCH-201
Studies more advanced grammatical structures and syntax, emphasizing practical and idiomatic usage, as well as analyzing essays, poems and short stories in French by famous authors from the French-speaking world.
