Jay Gravatt, originally from Richmond VA, moved to California in 1995. His passion for Spanish language and culture came through his experience with Latin music.
In Los Angeles, Jay earned a Master’s Degree in music from Cal Arts and later a Spanish teaching credential from CSUN. Jay has studied in Mexico City, Arequipa, Peru, and la Habana, Cuba. Jay has been teaching Spanish at the high school and college level for seven years.
