Registered Nursing Program

College of the Canyons is a well-respected two-year registered nursing program that is approved by the State Board of Registered Nurses and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. It is designed to prepare the student for the responsibilities and knowledge required for the entry-level registered nurse. The successful nursing program graduate will qualify to receive a certificate of completion, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and take the national licensure examination to become a registered nurse.

Important Dates/Deadlines:

We are currently in the Summer/Fall Timeline for spring 2014 applications

On or before July 31, 2013: 

• All required documents, including official transcripts due in Admission & Records (NOTE:  If possible, hand delivery will ensure timely receipt of your documents - see Application Checklist

June 1, 2013 - July 31, 2013: 

• Online Request for Nursing Prerequisite Evaluation (NOTE: This online form is the only mechanism to submit a Request for Nursing Prerequisite Evaluation; can be submitted once all documents are received by A & R).

August 1, 2013 - August 31, 2013:

• Application Submission Window

• Nursing Program Application   NEW!  Submit  Nursing Program Application online!!!

PLEASE NOTE:  All applicants can expect to receive the first email notification of application status by mid-to-late March.

September 2013:  Date TBD

• TEAS V - Only eligible applicants will be invited to take the TEAS V
