Welding Technology at College of the Canyons (COC) is a career technical education program which provides workforce training to prepare individuals for entry into welding and metal fabrication related fields. Upon completion of the program, students are well-prepared to enter to welding related fields such as:

• Welder
• Welding Inspector
• Welder/fitter
• Pipe Welder
• Metal Fabricator
• Welding Supervisor

Students train using the most up-to-date welding and metal fabrication equipment. Our full time instructors are AWS Certified Welding Inspectors/Educators. The weld laboratory is outfitted with an ultra-modern fume extraction system, which helps makes for a  safe and fume free working environment.
