Welcome to the Architecture & Interior Design Website

The Department offer two distinct and different programs that consist of Associate Degrees and multiple certificates in Architectural Drafting and Technology, and Interior Design.  The department prepares students for jobs in industry or transfer to a university. Instructors work in industry in either architecture or interior design; they are aware of current industry trends, and therefore provide students with relevant course content. Interdisciplinary Sustainable Development Institute (ISDI)

Sustainable design and development is the future of design whether for buildings or interiors.  Courses in architecture and interior design address sustainable practices as they relate to energy, building practices, and current codes for the health, safety and welfare of the public.  Please explore the interdisciplinary collaboration at College of the Canyons: www.coc-isdi.com
