I have been teaching at College of the Canyons since 1988 as a professor in the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Education. Currently I am the director of the Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) program at the college. As an educator my focus is on making science accessible and relevant to every learner. My professional interests include faculty development, communication in the college classroom and faculty inquiry as part of a reflective teaching practice. | |||||||||||
