 Thesis:  The release of sponge allelochemicals and their influence on small-scale coral reef community structure.

I am a Chemical Marine Biologist. I've worked on coral reefs of the tropics and California tide pools. When not teaching or conducting research, I enjoy spending time with my wife, scuba diving, natural history, astronomy, photography, scatology & animal tracking, and the fine art of Japanese fish printing.  I am faculty sponsor of the Biology Club.
