 Deadline Dates – Short-term Classes

Short-term class deadline dates are calculated for each course depending on the number of times the class meets for the respective class.  The calculations are based on the following percentages outlined in Title 5 of the California Education Code: Refund Deadline – 10%, Add Deadline – 20%, Drop without a “W” and CR/NC Deadline – 30%, Withdrawal Deadline – 50%

 è  Refund deadlines for short-term classes are printed on your individual schedule printout, which will be mailed to you once you pay your fees.

 è    Add, Drop without a “W,” and Withdrawal deadlines are different for each short-term class.  Check with your instructor as the deadlines are printed on the top of each class roster.

è    CR/NC grade option deadlines are the same date as the Drop without a “W” deadline for each short-term class.

NOTE: All Deadline Dates will be strictly enforced. Students who petition for extensions to published dates must have documented proof of extenuating circumstances.

Final Exam Schedule

Semester Length Classes: Final Exams for semester-length classes will be given during the last scheduled class meeting, at the same time as the class regularly meets, in the week ending December 13, 2008.

Short- Term Classes: Final Exams for short-term classes will be given during the last scheduled class meeting, at the same time as the class regularly meets.
