Standard Exceeded (level 4) College Ready/Prepared

You have arrived at this page because you believe you received a Standard Exceeded/College Ready status on your EAP/CAASSPP in the language​ arts/English subject area.
 
We will now begin the verification process, which can take up to three business days to complete. To have your exemption request accepted, please the note the following and then bring in your EAP/CAASSPP result page or high school transcript showing your result to the Admissions and Records Office

1. Your CAASPP/EAP must have been taken within the past two years. 

2. You must present Admission and Records with a result page (as seen below) showing you received the top box (level 4) standard exceeded. OR, you may bring in a high school transcript if it shows your results and the result year.

(NOTE: IN THE SAMPLE BELOW YOU CAN SEE 'STANDARD MET' AND 'STANDARD EXCEEDED' CIRCLED, THESE INSTRUSTIONS ARE FOR 'STANDARD EXCEEDED' AREA. IF YOU HAVE 'STANDARD MET', GO BACK and Click on the associated Button). 

3​. You understand that this waiver does not exempt you from the math assessment.  

4. You understand that a successful exemption request will make you eligible to enroll in English 101 or 101H, HOWEVER, EAP results will expire 2 years from the date of your test, not the date of the evaluation of your result.
