The 39th Annual Cross Country
Summer Series

Thursday evenings in July and August
Three-mile course over rolling hills
July 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9 and 16
About the Course:
A three-mile cross country course beginning
on the baseball field, winding through the oak-studded
hills overlooking the Santa Clarita Valley and finishing in
Cougar Stadium.
Start
Times:
Races begin at 7p.m.
Age
Divisions:
Male and Female - 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17,
18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69
and 70+.
Entry
Fee:
$5 per race.
$15 for the August 16 final - includes dinner at conclusion
of race.
$30 for a series card, which covers fees for all races and dinner for the final race.
All checks should be made out to COC ASG with "Summer Cross Country Series" in the memo line.
Kids
Race for $2.00:
Children's race begins at 6:45 p.m. each night.
The race consists of one lap around the track and each child receives a participation
ribbon.
Registration:
Registration is at the start of the race. No
pre-registration is necessary.
Parking:
Parking will be free in lot 8 only, from 6 p.m. to the end of the race. Click here to see a map of the school.
Awards:
Awards to the top three men and women in each
age division. Awards are given at the final race. Awards ceremony
will be held in the Cougar Den, located adjacent to Cougar Stadium. Must compete in three races and the final race to qualify for Aug. 18 awards ceremony.
T-Shirts:
T-shirts are available to purchase at the race.
Results:
The first three finishers and times for each
division will be announced at the end of each race. Printed
results will be available the following week. Results will also
available on the web at www.dyestat.com.
