Unless otherwise noted, business meetings begin with a closed session at 4 p.m., followed by an open session at 5 p.m. The public may attend all open sessions. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held on Wednesdays in Hasley Hall, Room 137 (HSLH-137). Please refer to individual agendas for pertinent meeting information and updates. WHO MAY ATTEND – The public is always welcome to attend open sessions of the board. The public may not attend closed sessions, whose topics are limited to those set forth by state law.
DATE CHANGES – Please be aware that meeting dates can change. In such cases, a revised meeting calendar will be posted on this website. Additionally, revised calendars will be posted in three locations at the Valencia campus:
- The glass-enclosed announcement case on the north side of Seco Hall.
- The glass-enclosed announcement case in the Student Center atrium, across from the bookstore.
- The bulletin board near the reference desk of the Library.
NOTE – During the year, the Board of Trustees will attempt to schedule joint meetings (noted by an asterisk*) with the Associated Student Government, the Governing Board of the Wm. S. Hart Union High School District, Santa Clarita City Council, and the COC Foundation Board of Directors. These dates have been set aside so we can calendar joint meetings based on the availability of each of these organizations. As we get closer to each date and solidify plans, the schedule will be updated.
