Our next Star Party is scheduled for Friday, October 21st at 7:00pm. The evening will include guest speaker, Dr. Morgan Cable, Research Scientist with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, as well as a number of hands-on science-related displays and exhibits presented by our students from a variety of clubs and departments, including Astronomy & Physics, Engineering, TEACH, Biology, Chemistry, SHPE, and MESA, amongst others. One of the highlights of the evening are the high-powered telescopes brought to you by our local community astronomy clubs and our College, for viewing objects in the sky. It is an evening of interactive and educational fun for all!

Our Campus star parties have become quite popular through the years, inviting both students and community members to learn more about the complexity and beauty of the universe through knowledgeable speakers, hands-on, immersive education, and telescope viewing. The community is provided an opportunity to see our campus up close, to interact with our amazing students and faculty, and to learn more about space.
