Culinary Arts Internship Fair
Feb. 26, 2016. 8:15-10am – Invitation Only. This event is intended for employers to select Spring 2016 and Summer 2016 interns from “job-ready” culinary students at College of the Canyons. What does job-ready mean? A job-ready student has completed 50% of the courses in the culinary program, is pursuing culinary studies as a career choice, has met with a career advisor to develop a professional resume, and is prepared for the commitment.

April 19, 2016, 12:00 – 1:00pm, Canyons Hall 211. Learn about….How state and American government operates and the political process, Internship opportunities, how to earn CSU transferrable college credit for an internship, and as always get your questions answered.
Graphic & Multimedia Design Internship Fair
April 29, 2016 –This event is intended for employers to select Summer 2016 interns from “job-ready” Graphic and Multimedia Design students at College of the Canyons. What does job-ready mean? A job-ready student is enrolled in GMD-242 Graphic Design II, is pursuing graphic and multimedia design as a career choice, has developed a professional resume, and is prepared for the commitment. Interviews begin at 9:00am, dress professional, treat as if you were interviewing for a job.
Habitat for Humanity Internship Information Meeting
April 28, 2016, 12:00 – 1:00pm Canyons Hall 201. This Meeting will allow you to speak directly to Habitat Staff, learn about Habitat for Humanity and the Veterans Village Project.
Internship Power Hour NEW
Every Tuesday 9:30-10:30am and Wednesday 12-1pm starting early March. Stop in any time during the hour and meet with CWE staff to learn how to navigate the internship portal, MyJobs. The Internship Power Hour will show you how to search and apply for an internship and finally, once you get the internship what you do from there.
This is a walk-in service with limited seating, no reservation needed. CWE is located in STCN-123 and open Mon-Thur 9:00 – 4:00pm.
Students unable to attend a Power Hour are welcome to come by the CWEE office during open office hours for assistance with MyJobs or help in general.
