Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
Levels of Emergency

The following guidelines
are provided to assist you in determining the appropriate level of emergency
response:
1.
Minor Emergency:
Any incident, potential or actual, which does not seriously affect the overall
operations of the College. Report the emergency to Campus Safety at campus
extension 3229.
2.
Major Emergency:
Any incident, potential or actual, which affects a building or buildings, and
disrupts the overall operations of the College. Outside emergency services are
required, as well as major efforts from campus services. Policy considerations
and decisions are required from the Administration during a major emergency.
Report the emergency to Campus Safety at campus extension 3229.
3.
Disaster:
Any event or occurrence which takes place which has seriously impaired or halted
the operations of the College. In some cases, injuries/casualties of people or
property damage may have been sustained. A coordinated effort of campus
resources is required to effectively control or contain the situation. Outside
emergency services are required and essential. In all cases of a disaster, an
Incident Command Post will be activated and the appropriate support and
operational plans will be executed.
