Gina Painter is a graduate of The Grove School of Music, where she majored in vocal performance and holds a teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. Currently, she teaches theater and dance at Rio Norte Junior High where she directs and choreographs the school musical every spring. Some of her favorite productions include Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls and Grease. In addition to her work at Rio Norte, she is the founder and director of Valencia Teen Theater where she has directed the hit musicals Chicago and Bye-Bye Birdie.
