From the California Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism, has a "Volunteer Here" feature to help locate volunteer opportunities within a specified distance from a zip code. E-mail expressing interest can be sent to the sponsoring non-profit organization.
Access about 3,000 internship programs all over the world. Internships are offered by government, non-profit organizations, and companies. Student intern reviews, resume tips, and resources for interns are also included.
