BEREAVEMENT:

Crisis, Grief, and Healing

A variety of searchable healing resources have been organized by Tom Golden, a Washington D.C. licensed clinical social worker.  Included are personal stories of grief and healing, columns by psychotherapists and grief therapists on grief, a guestbook in which to write about grief, a discussion section, links to other grief sites and comments from grief experts such as Elizabeth Kubler-Ross.  Golden's specialty is male grief healing.

Death and Dying Grief Support- Beyond Indigo

Via essays, poetry and personal insights, topics such as loss, near-death experiences, and terminal illness are explored.  Info on health and legal issues are also found.

Grief Net

This site is a collection of resources for those experiencing loss or grief and is sponsored by Rivendell Resources, a non-profit foundation in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Also included are discussion and support groups (via mailing lists) for bereaved persons and the professionals who work with them.

Widow Net

Information and self-help resources for widows and widowers. Links to grief/bereavement support groups, financial topics, and other relevant online support resources.

A huge site where you can search for scientific articles as well as find several different online assessment instruments.

DIVORCE:

Divorce Online

Provides free articles and information on the legal, financial, psychological, real estate, and other aspects of divorce. Bulletin board feature allows people to discuss their situations with others. Ignore professional resources as they are for the state of Michigan.

Divorce Support.com

A support page for those going through divorces or the loss of a relationship. Designed to give men and women links and referrals to parenting, child support, legal, and support group info.

An international multi-faith organization working with clergy and faith communities to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.

Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community

A national network working on research and prevention of domestic violence in the African American community.

National Eating Disorders Association

Info about eating disorders and programs.

Dying to Be Thin

Based on the PBS program, an exploration of eating disorders, Q and A with experts, and a guide for teachers.

FAMILY VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT:

Institute on Violence Abuse, Trauma at Alliant International University

Promoting violence-free homes, communities and societies.  Offers training and programs, ppublications professional services and community relations.

STRESS MANAGEMENT:
