The College Community Garden has its own custom shed, thanks to the efforts and craftsmanship of Ian Cunningham and fellow members of Boy Scout Troop 585. The shed was built over the course of several weekends and was completed in mid-November.
"It's a well-built shed and an incredibly useful addition to our Community Garden," said Juli Mosier, chair of the Gardens of the Canyons Committee. "We are grateful for the generosity and hard work of Ian and his fellow scouts."
Just two months after the College Community Garden's ceremonial ribbon was cut, an assortment of planter boxes are brimming with assorted organic goodies.
The garden, located on the corner across from Aliso Lab and Towsley Hall, features 22 individual planter boxes that are leased and maintained by student clubs, campus departments, faculty, staff and students.
