Bridget Tatevossian

My name is Bridget Tatevossian and I am running for the position of President. I am strongly interested in this position because I know that I am fully capable of leading our honor society to success and helping it grow. I truly enjoy being a leader as well as a part of a team. Being the current President of our chapter, I have learned so much and I am eager to continue bringing more ideas that will be beneficial to Phi Theta Kappa. I work extremely well with others and am able to communicate with the other officers and members to ensure that we are all on the same page. This past year has been amazing with Phi Theta Kappa, my experience as the current President will help our honor society immensely. I have many new ideas that I want to share with the club and as President I will make sure that everyone else's ideas are heard as well. Being President is such a crucial job and I know that I will continue to work hard to fulfill my duties. I am an extremely hard working individual and I make sure to complete all of the tasks that are required of me. As President, I will do my absolute best to make sure Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Nu Xi Chapter continues to be a successful Five Star Chapter!

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP & MARKETING

Duties: Recruit new members, promote Phi Theta Kappa on campus and community, schedule and conduct new member’s orientations, organize social activities for members, and organize fundraising activities. Communicate with President.

Lamia Monir

As a business major, marketing has always been one of my passions. Thus, I have always been very active in advertising any event, service, or product for my clubs as well as my family. Besides the great interest in the marketing field, I have always held a positive reputation in communicating with people. Since I have had customer service experience I am known to be very influential, optimistic, informative, and encouraging in work places, school, and amongst my relatives. So, I believe that I am highly qualified to hold the position of VP of Marketing and Membership. Besides the aforementioned qualities, another reason that reinforces my qualities of holding this position is that I have been fulfilling the duties of VP of Marketing and Membership of Alpha Nu Xi chapter for this past whole year. So, I have been involved with all of the events and activities of Phi Theta Kappa as well as attended the regional conference. Lastly, for my deep interest in Phi Theta Kappa I have actually been involved with Phi Theta Kappa even before achieving the membership through my friends. Phi Theta Kappa has held a very important part in my life through its various programs, events, community services, as well as scholarships. Thus, I want to return its favor by dedicating myself to Phi Theta Kappa as an officer for another year. I am greatly willing to contribute as much of time as possible in being a worthy Vice President of Membership and Marketing. I assure Phi Theta Kappa that I will be a very devoted officer and will try my best to recruit eligible and potentially dedicated members. I hope that I will get the chance to prove my qualities and skills to Phi Theta Kappa.

Vice President Of Scholarship:

Duties: In charge of organizing activities that relate to the Scholarship Hallmark (including the Fellowship component as well), research, and responsible for the writing of the Hallmark at deadline. Communicate with President.

Vahid Hamzeinejad

I am interested in running for the seat of Vice President of Scholarship.  My dedication to Alpha Nu Xi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is highly expressed by my actions.  In the 2010-2011 school year, I was the secretary of the club where not only did I accomplish my own tasks, but I was always ready to lend a helping hand to my fellow officers.  During the 2011-2012 school year, I served the club as the Vice President of Scholarship during which I coordinated the research team whose research helped the club win first place for our regional hallmark awards.  In the past two years of serving Alpha Nu Xi, I have attended four conferences where I have learned how an officer of Phi Theta Kappa should be and what is expected of our club.  If elected, I will used my knowledge and experience to make our club even greater that it already is.

I would like to run for Financial Officer because I honestly love to handle financials. With the successful application of careful spending comes the success of an organization. I feel I would be able to help this distinguished and renowned chapter with the skills I've learned thus far and those which I will acquire by performing this position. Of course, the organization is always the primary goal and I will work hard to communicate with the other officers to ensure success. Thank you!

Zachary Lundby

Zachary Lundby

My name is Zachary Lundby and I am running for ICC representative. I welcome the opportunity to represent our club, and I am dedicated to streamlining communication between the Associated Student Government and Phi Theta Kappa. As the current ICC representative of PTK, I am uniquely qualified for this position because I already have a firm grasp on what it takes to be an ICC representative as well as an effective officer for our honor society. During my tenure as ICC representative I have attended 100% of the ICC meetings and reported back faithfully during our own general meetings.

If elected, I will continue to attend all ICC meetings and maximize opportunities for our chapter to earn points. I am passionate about being the best liaison between you and the ASG that I can possibly be. Vote Zachary Lundby for ICC representative!
