Reuse First Program - An ongoing activity event, we ship books that the Library does not need to Better World Books

Better World Books is a for-profit social enterprise that collects used books and sells them online to raise money for literacy initiatives worldwide.

In turn, our partners use these funds to build schools, start libraries and provide scholarships worldwide. When you sign up to participate in a Reuse First Program, you get to select which of our nonprofits you’d like to help. The following five are our major nonprofit literacy partners:  Books for Africa, Invisible Children, The National Center for Family Literacy, Romm to Read, Worldfund, Open Books, The Robinson Community Learning Center, and the Prison Book Program.
