Introduction
Books & Ideas is a Flex activity which provides a forum for the College community to discuss books (both fiction and non-fiction). Books & Ideas sessions are held six times a year (twice in Spring and Fall Semester and once in Winter Session and Summer Session). Anyone can suggest a book at one of the sessions and the group will decide whether or not to read the suggested title. The titles chosen will be announced early in the semester, providing sufficient time for faculty, staff, students and community members to read the selections. The person who selected the title will give a brief critique and then lead a discussion. Contact Peter Hepburn at peter.hepburn@canyons.edu for more information about Books and Ideas, or to suggest a book.
