“An Evening of Inspiration” will feature guest performances by two outstanding inspirational speakers, PATRICK HENRY HUGHES and KATHY BUCKLEY. Although Patrick has been blind since birth and uses a wheelchair, he’s an accomplished musician, singer, author and University of Louisville marching band player. He shared his incredible talents and zest for life on many shows and was featured on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Patrick and his father inspire listeners with his powerful message of overcoming obstacles. He’ll also delight guests by singing, playing the piano and promoting his new book, “I Am Potential." Kathy Buckley, a comedienne, actress, humanitarian and another great inspirational speaker, has appeared on such programs as The Tonight Show, Today, CNN's Show Biz Today and Geraldo, to name a few. She has been featured in shows, documentaries and magazines, including People Magazine as one of its most touching stories of 1997. Kathy, who is hearing-impaired, will bring her own special kind of magic to the stage. Those who attended LETMESAIL’s New Year’s Eve Bon Voyage Ball are still talking about her incredible performance, and VIA members gave her a standing ovation!
