Comedians of the Canyons to Host Evening of Improv May 30

The College of the Canyons theatre department will host an evening of unscripted laughter and excitement as the college’s student improv troupe, Comedians of the
Canyons, presents its final show of the spring semester.

Comprised entirely of student performers enrolled in the college’s advanced improvisational performance theatre class, the Comedians of the Canyons will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, in Pico Canyon Hall, Room 202, at the Valencia campus.

The Comedians of the Canyons series has grown in popularity and enjoyed tremendous success in recent years, with students routinely performing to a packed house of comedy and improv enthusiasts.

Last month’s Comedians of the Canyons performance attracted a standing-room only crowd of students and community members.

“The students really knocked the last performance out of the park. This time around, I'm looking forward to seeing what they’re going to do with more advanced, long-form improvisational challenges,” said Matt Gourley, COC instructor and host of the show. “Don’t miss your last chance of the semester to see these talented students perform.”
