2016-17 Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) Ticket Sales Begin June 23

Individual ticket sales for the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) 2016-17 season will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, with patrons able to secure their seats for a lineup of exciting shows featuring a combination of established performers and up-and-coming stars.

“This year’s PAC season is one of our most eclectic yet, with something for everyone in the family,” said Lindsay Gambini, PAC Director. “From Broadway to Latin music, we are sure audience members of all ages will be inspired and moved by this season’s performances.”

Living up to their reputation as the “world’s greatest party band,” the B-52s will officially get the party started on Sunday, Sept. 18 as the season’s headlining act. With more than 20 million albums sold, the chart-topping band will perform some of its classic pop-rock songs such as “Love Shack,” “Rock Lobster,” and “Private Idaho.” Tickets for a special Opening Night champagne celebration with the band will be sold separately.

Four-time Grammy Award winner Rosanne Cash, daughter of music icon Johnny Cash, will take the PAC stage on Saturday, Oct. 1. Already an Americana music mainstay, the Southern singer-songwriter will be performing music from her 2014 critically acclaimed album “The River & The Thread.” Cash produced the album with John Leventhal, her collaborator, guitarist, musical director, and husband.

The evening of Saturday, Nov. 5 is sure be a dazzling one when The Midtown Men bring to life some of their favorite 1960s hits at the PAC. Dressed in Rat Pack-inspired suits, the band is made up four stars from the original cast of Broadway’s “Jersey Boys,” including Tony Award winner, Christian Hoff. The Midtown Men will perform from a wide repertoire of hits from The Rascals, The Beatles, Motown, and The Four Seasons.

Formed in East L.A. more than 30 years ago, Los Lobos have become known for fusing the sounds of their Mexican heritage with American rock ‘n’ roll, to create a sound that is uniquely their own. The group shot to international stardom with its 1987 cover of the Ritchie Valens classic “La Bamba” and was featured in the feature film of the same title. The multiple Grammy Award winners will perform at the PAC on Saturday, Feb. 11.

After performing at the PAC in June 2013, Lily Tomlin will return with an encore performance show on Saturday, May 20. Tomlin has been delighting audiences ever since she first appeared on the sketch TV show “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.” Her one-woman show will include all the timeless characters that have made the Grammy Award and Peabody Award winner famous, such as Mrs. Beasley, Edith Ann, and Ernestine.

The 2016-17 PAC season will also include family-friendly performances such as Goodnight Moon & The Runaway Bunny, A Very Electric Christmas, It’s Magic, and Dinosaur Zoo, an Australian theatrical children’s show.

Other acts and artists visiting the PAC this season include: cabaret singer Maxine Linehan, Broadway artist David Burnham, and the American hip-hop duo Black Violin.
