The PAC season kicks off with a pre-concert Opening Night Celebration Dinner followed by a live performance by Kansas on Saturday, Sept. 12 — providing patrons with an opportunity to combine their passion for great food and stellar entertainment.
Known for timeless hit singles like “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind,” this powerhouse rock band has served as a lifelong soundtrack for multiple generations of music lovers. They’ve played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, now fans can hear them in the intimate surroundings of the PAC.
Hot on the heels of Kansas comes Nashville — or rather the talent-filled super group from Nashville known as The Time Jumpers.
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, The Time Jumpers — featuring Vince Gill, Kenny Sears and Ranger Doug Green — will take part in a special pre-concert “Wine Down Wednesday” meet-and-greet event benefitting the PAC’s K-12 Arts Education Outreach Program.
Looking ahead to the second half of the season, Los Lonely Boys will bring its bluesy rock ‘n’ roll and rustic acoustic textures to the PAC on Saturday, Feb. 27.
Later in the spring, country music mainstay John Michael Montgomery will help kick off the City of Santa Clarita’s annual Cowboy Festival with an intimate PAC performance on Sunday, April 17. Montgomery’s fans will also be able to rub elbows with the artist during a special pre-concert barbecue bonanza and artist meet-and-greet.
Admission to the Opening Night Celebration, “Wine Down Wednesday” and “Barbecue Bonanza” do not include show tickets.
Also included among the acts slated to perform during the COC Presents portion of the 2015-16 season are Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat,” the Golden Dragon Acrobats, Room on the Broom, Tao: Seventeen Samurai, Stunt Dog Experience, and the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West.
In addition, the PAC will also offer a number of lively community performances from ESCAPE Theatre, Santa Clarita Ballet, Santa Clarita Master Chorale and Santa Clarita Regional Theatre.
The COC theatre, dance and music departments will also stage performances throughout the season, offering community members the chance to see the stars of tomorrow shine on stage today.
