by visiting the College of the Canyons Scholarships Page.
 

Fill out ONE online application online to be considered for over 200 scholarships. Make sure to identify yourself as a veteran when filling the application.

College of the Canyons
Veteran Excellence Scholarship
Established by the College of the Canyons Foundation, awarded to a current serving or honorably discharged veteran who has completed at least 6 units with a minimum 3.5 GPA.    More info

      

Santa Clarita Valley Warrior's Scholarship
Established by the Adult Re-Entry and Veteran’s program at College of the Canyons, in partnership with other civic minded organizations, awarded to a current serving, or honorably discharged veteran who has completed at least 6 units with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and is working toward a degree or certificate at COC.    More info

                             

Ricky Slocum Memorial Fund Scholarship
Established in 2014 to assist veterans in obtaining the skills, training, and education necessary to improve their ability to be successful and self-sufficient. The scholarship serves to honor the memory of Ricky Slocum, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.    More info

      

Soroptimist Int’l of the Greater Santa Clarita Valley
Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The Soroptimist International Santa Clarita Valley “Educating Women” Scholarship supports female veteran students to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.    More info

   

Band of Brothers & Sisters Veteran Excellence Award
The mission of the College of the Canyons Military Club is to honor the men and women who served in the armed forces and to provide mentorship, guidance, and transitional support to all veterans, veteran dependents and spouses continuing their education. In that proud spirit, the COC Military Club and COC Foundation have partnered with donors Stephanie Danyluk and Albert Rodriguez from Realty Executives to offer awards designed to support our military veterans and active duty reservists.
