Institutional Scholarship Program

The application for the 2015-2016 academic year is NOW OPEN!!! The application DEADLINE will be 3/23/2015.

The College of the Canyons Institutional Scholarship Program is an annual scholarship program created only for College of the Canyons students.  The program offers a great variety of scholarships based upon academic achievement and/or financial need.  Criteria vary from scholarship to scholarship.  Funding for the annual scholarship program comes from  two major partners - the COC Foundation and Associated Student Government. Gifts and endowments from community organizations, private individuals, corporations as well as foundations, sponsor student scholarships as a means of expressing confidence in College of the Canyons students.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Students will be screened for scholarship eligibility based on criteria 

established for each individual scholarship. You must:

           - Have completed a minimum of 6 units prior to Spring semester
           - Have at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average
           - Be currently enrolled at least part-time (6+ units)

Apply for the Rockwell Collins-SVA STEM Scholarship


 Putting veterans to work for STEM

 Student Veterans of America is proud to partner with Rockwell Collins to award three $2,500 scholarships to student veterans interested in pursuing a STEM degree path. This scholarship will not only build a diverse talent pool of candidates that can meet the emerging workforce demands of Rockwell Collins, but it will also ensure that student veterans can achieve their goal of earning a college education.    


The deadline for application for the 2015 Rockwell Collins-SVA STEM Scholarship is March 15th, 2015, 11:59pm EST.

Eligible student veterans must meet the below outlined minimum criteria:

  • Be pursuing a degree from an accredited two-year or four-year institution of higher learning, located in the United States
  • Be enrolled for the 2015/2016 academic year
  • Attest to being enrolled in a STEM course of study (to include; Computer and Information Technology Science, Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, or Physics)
  • Submit proof of military service (DD214)
  • Submit proof of enrollment in an accredited US institution of higher learning (transcript)
  • Submit a current resume
  • Submit one (1) essay
