The 2012-2013 academic year promises to be full of activity for the Canyon Country Campus. In Fall 2012, more than 5,100 students are registered in nearly 300 sections, which means that the campus is bustling. This year also marks the fifth anniversary of the campus. A recent community open house celebration in September commemorated the occasion and brought community members, staff, and students to the campus to enjoy a variety of workshops, instructional displays, and entertainment. We are pleased that the Canyon Country Campus is part of the path students are taking to achieve their goals and realize their dreams. Students who attend classes in Canyon Country enjoy the easy to navigate campus, the great quality of instruction, the variety of classes and student support services available, and the overall majestic setting of the campus. Our fall enrollment continues to increase, indicating the strong demand for access to higher education in these challenging economic times.
The majestic hillsides above the campus, coupled with beautiful chaparral terrain surrounding the campus, makes the new campus feel worlds apart from the hustle and bustle of Sierra Highway below us. The Canyon Country campus is indeed a special place, where dreams can take root, while future opportunities soar.
