Hadley Holliday was born in Kansas City and currently lives in Los Angeles. She received her MFA from Cal Arts in 2004. Her paintings explore a collision of geometric abstraction, ritual experimentation, broken systems, forgotten rules, mistakes and play.
Holliday’s work has been exhibited internationally. Exhibitions in 2013 include a solo show at Carl Solway Gallery in Cincinnati, a group exhibition at Irvine Fine Arts Center and a curatorial project at Fellows of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

Holliday currently teaches Drawing 1 and Landmarks of Art at COC, and drawing and family programs at the Los Angeles County Museum of art.
