Born in San Francisco, Nicole Farrand grew up in the Bay Area.  She attended the University of California at Davis and earned a BA in Studio Art.  She received her MFA with an emphasis in painting from Claremont Graduate University where she was a Preparing Future Faculty Fellow.  Her paintings have been exhibited in Los Angles, Riverside, Chicago and Tennessee.  Over the past two years, Ms. Farrand has taught courses in painting, art appreciation, drawing, 2D design and Modern to Contemporary art history and has held adjunct faculty positions at Pitzer College and in the University of California at Riverside Extension Program.  She currently teaches drawing and 2D design at Riverside Community College and College of the Canyons.
