BIOSCI 100 GENERAL BIOLOGY

Explores the structure, function, and development of living systems from cells to ecosystems. UC credit limitation: No credit for BIOSCI-100 if taken after BIOSCI-106, 107, 201, 202, 204, 205, 215, 216, 221, or 250

BIOSCI 215 GENERAL ZOOLOGY
Units: 4.00 - UC:CSU, May Be Taken Once for Credit CAN BIOL 4
Prerequisite: MATH-070
Recommended Preparation: BIOSCI-107

Surveys the animal kingdom with emphasis on integrating mechanisms at the cellular, organismal, and population levels

BIOSCI 218 INTRODUCTION TO OCEANOGRAPHY
Units: 4.00 - UC:CSU, May Be Taken Once for Credit

A study of the history of oceanography, geological, chemical, biological and physical oceanography. Laboratories will include both in-class and required field studies, which may include times outside of assigned laboratory hours.

Thesis:  The release of sponge allelochemicals and their influence on small-scale coral reef community structure.

Gregory is a Chemical Marine Biologist. He works on coral reefs of the tropics and California tide pools. When not teaching or conducting research, Gregory enjoys spending time with his wife, scuba diving, natural history, astronomy, photography, scatology & animal tracking, and the fine art of Japanese fish printing. 
He is in charge of the Biology Club.
