Many parents feel ill-equipped to communicate information on sexuality to
their children. Unfortunately, adolescents receive much of their information on
matters of acceptable sexual behavior from peers, media, and other societal
influences. This workshop will guide parents in becoming more comfortable with
communicating with their teens on matters of sex. When parents communicate
family values, teenagers know what is expected of them. If it is not shared in
the home, it will be shared outside the home.
