• Health Science 151 - Emergency Medical Technician

• Health Science 153 - Emergency Medical Technician Recertification Course

• Health Science 051 - American Heart Association BLS for the Health Care Provider (CPR class)

• Health Science 045 - Emergency Medical Services Career Prep

Background check required:  Due to contractual requirements, students convicted of any of the following will not be allowed to participate in the EMT course.

·       Murder

·       Felony assault

·       Sexual offenses/sexual assault

·       Felony possession and/or furnishing without certificate of rehabilitation

·       Felonies involving weapons and/or violent crimes,

·       Misdemeanor theft (Class A or Class B)

·       Felony theft

·       Fraud

·       Drug and alcohol offenses without certificate of rehab (yes this includes DUIs.)

If a student has a certificate of rehabilitation, he/she must speak to the EMT Program Director, Patti Haley and possibly the Dean of Allied Health. All decisions by the Dean will be considered final.
