Fire Technology |

This degree is for the fire
service professional that wishes to advance within the fire
service. Upon completing the degree program, fire service
professionals will further their knowledge in the following
areas: Incident Command System 200 and 300, fire
investigation, fire command, fire management and fire
prevention officer training. Promotional opportunities
include Fire Apparatus operator, Fire Captain, Battalion
Chief, Division Chief, Assistant Fire Chief and Fire Chief.
For an associate degree in the Fire Technology Program, you
must complete the core courses plus 15 units of electives
totaling 27 units for the degree. These courses are in
addition to the 30 units of general education required of
all associate degrees. |
