Welcome to the Architecture & Interior Design Website

We offer two distinct and different programs within one department: Architectural Drafting and Interior Design. Each program offers a variety of courses, certificates and a degree to prepare students for jobs in industry or transfer to a university. Instructors work in industry in either architecture or interior design, so they are aware of current industry trends, and therefore provide students with relevant course content. ARCHT 198E UNITED STATES GREEN BUILDING LEED RATING

Units: 1.00 - CSU, May Be Taken Once for Credit

Provides an in-depth review of the LEED rating system developed by the United States Green Building Council to promote a decrease in the negative impacts the built environment has upon the natural environment, our economy, health and productivity. Green Building Ordinances from local communities will be examined for their impact on the building approval and construction process.
