Department of Political Science. If you take courses in our department,
you値l learn how our society and others make political decisions.
You値l come to understand the challenges that are inherent in
developing public policy. You値l gain an appreciation for the
fundamental ideas and choices that must be understood and addressed for
any society and it痴 citizens to achieve success. Your understanding of
human relations, and even some of your values, may be challenged by the
ideas and concepts presented. You値l be asked to think critically and
to develop positions and viewpoints about the way our society and other
societies should be. You値l become better informed about the political
events that affect our country and the world. It痴 an exciting
discipline that can lead to equally exciting careers. We invite you to
