STUDY ABROAD TO SPAIN, SUMMER 2007 (20 DAYS)

July 24-August 11, 2007

Academic Program: Study Spanish language and culture in beautiful Spain. Students will stay four days in Madrid before their immersion program in Salamanca. Visits include the Royal Palace, the Prado museum, The Escorial and other nearby sites. On the way to Salamanca we will stop in Avila

Program Cost: $3195.00 inclusive of air, lodging, many meals while in Madrid, two-week language and culture program at our partner school in Salamanca. It includes Flamenco lessons, and weekly lectures on the life and culture of Spain. Excursions to Avila, Segovia, Toledo and more, welcome dinners in Madrid and Salamanca and farewell dinner. The price does not include taxes, or college tuition ($20.00 per unit).

Deadline: Space is limited to 25 students. To guarantee a space you must sign up soon and send a deposit in the amount of $300.00. A second payment of $ 1000.00 is due on January 15, and the final payment is due on April 30.

Meetings: Students are required to attend class meetings on campus in July 17, 18, 19 6-10p.m. Room TBA.

Credit units: Students may earn up to 8 units of credit in Spanish

STUDY ABROAD TO ECUADOR AND GALAPAGOS, WINTER 2007 (10 DAYS)

January 12-21, 2007

Ecuador offers an extraordinary setting for the study of biology and Spanish language and Culture. The program includes excursions to places of remarkable natural beauty and historical significance. Cities include the colonial capital of Quito (declared World Cultural Heritage Center by UNESCO), and the Galapagos Island including Darwin’s Research Center.

Program Cost: $ 2698.00 all inclusive except taxes and enrollment fees
