Welding Technology at College of the Canyons (COC) is a career technical
education
program which provides workforce training to prepare individuals for
entry into
welding related fields. Upon completion of the program, students are
well-prepared to enter to welding related fields such as:
- Welder
- Welding Inspector
- Welder/fitter
- Pipe Welder
- Maintenance Welder
- Welding Supervisor
Students train using the most up-to-date welding equipment and metal
working tools. Our full time instructors are AWS Certified Welding
Inspectors/Educators. The weld laboratory is outfitted with an ultra-modern
fume extraction system, which helps makes for a safe and fume free
working environment.
