College of the Canyons is a licensed testing agency with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) to administer welder qualification performance testing for the following classifications:

• Structural Steel
• Light Gage Steel
• Reinforced Steel
• Aluminum

Please note:  LADBS welder certifications require a separate written examination per classification. Please visit Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) for additional information.

College of the Canyons is also an Accredited Testing Facility (ATF) for   administering the American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welder (CW) program and its subsequent welder qualification performance tests. We also perform pipe welding certification testing in accordance with ASME Section IX and API 1104.
