STUDENT RELEASE
I agree to allow SCCCD and/or its agents to publish my artwork, written
materials and/or other works created by me in connection with the Project
(altogether, "Works"). In addition, although I retain the rights to the Works, I
hereby grant SCCCD, its agents and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable,
non-exclusive right to edit, make derivative works of, digitize, transmit,
broadcast, publicly display, publicly perform, copy and distribute the Works or
any portion thereof and use my name and likeness, throughout the world, in all
media now known or hereinafter discovered, as part of the Project and in
advertising and publicity for the Project. Finally, I hereby release SCCCD, its
agents, employees, licensees and assigns from and against any and all claims
which I have or may have in the future arising out of the production,
distribution, publication, broadcast or exhibition of my name or likeness or the
Works as permitted by this release.
To the best of my knowledge, the Works are original and owned by me. The rights
I have granted to SCCCD hereunder do not and will not violate any right of any
third party. I shall, at my expense, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify SCCCD
and its employees and agents against any claim or suit against SCCCD that
SCCCD's use of the Works infringes a third-party copyright or other intellectual
property.
I acknowledge that I am not being paid to sign this release and I understand
that this release does not obligate SCCCD to use any of the Works.
