Program Description:
The Architectural Drafting and Technology program is designed to prepare students for careers in industry as architectural drafters or in related occupations, and/or to transfer to a 4 or 5-year architecture program. Drafting technicians are in short supply, affording employment opportunities for qualified individuals. The program provides students with entry-level skills and knowledge in the fields of computer and architectural drafting. Competencies include knowledge in computer aided generated drawings, current practices in architectural drafting, construction technology, 2-D drawings, 3-D models, and portfolio for entry level architectural drafting positions, and/or transfer application.

Upon completion of the program students will be prepared for entry-level drafting positions. An associate of science degree can be earned in Architectural Drafting Technology.
