College of the Canyons’
well-respected two-year registered nursing program is
accredited by the State Board of Registered Nurses and
National League for Nursing. It is designed to prepare
the student for the responsibilities and knowledge
required for the entry-level registered nurse. The
successful nursing program graduate will qualify to
receive a certificate of completion, an Associate Degree
in Nursing, and take the national licensure examination
to become a registered nurse.
Certificate courses offered by the
Allied Health Division include Nursing Assistant
Training, Home Health Aide, Phlebotomy, and Medical
Assisting.
