California State University Northridge:
COC offered a joint program between
College of the Canyons Nursing program and the nursing program at the California
State University at Northridge (CSUN) in spring 2010.
NOTE: This option is not
currently available.
The next cohort will be announced on
this website when it is determined.
This grant funded pilot project facilitated a COC nursing graduate to complete
the BSN degree within one year of passing the NCLEX examination. Ten highly
qualified students were considered for eligibility in the original cohort.
To be considered, students must meet
both the COC and CSUN admission criteria. Courses will be taken simultaneously
at COC and CSUN beginning in the second semester of the COC RN program. This is
not a separate application process to the COC nursing Program. If you are
interested and believe you are qualified, please indicate this by checking the
box on the COC RN Program application.
