|The study of Humanities encompasses an evaluation and interpretation of the range of cultural productions that demonstrate our values and beliefs as humans. Humanities examines artifacts from the past and present, and speculates about what the future holds. Humanities instructs students in the value of inquiry and evaluation. Students who study Humanities develop language skills, critical thinking skills, reading skills, interpretative skills, and reflective skills. Humanities students embrace the complexity of human existence and the multitude of possible experiences. The Humanities help refine and articulate our moral, ethical, analytical and aesthetic values. We know who we are, where we have been, and where we are going as a human race because of studies in the Humanities.
