Math 214: Linear Algebra

NEWS: Information about Test 5 and homework from Ch. 7, 8:

Test 5 (May 21) will be on Sec. 5.1; 5.2; 6.3; and 7.1. Be sure to know all important definitions and theorems from these sections. Also, be sure to turn in all homework problems from these sections; they are due on the same day (May 21), with the exception of Sec. 7.1 Problem 7 (you do NOT have to do this problem).

Homework from Sections 8.1 and 8.2 are due on the day of the final exam (May 30). You do NOT have to do Sec. 8.1 Problem 9. This leaves 14 exercise problems from these two sections. EACH PROBLEM IS WORTH 2 POINTS IN THESE TWO SECTIONS, totaling 28 points for this last HW set so that we will end up with close to 100 HW points as stated in the syllabus. The final exam will have questions from these two sections, so be sure to study these sections for the final (but not for Test 5).
