Note: This web page is "static"; that is, it is put here to give students information prior to the start of the semester.  I use Blackboard to keep students informed over the course of the semester.  You can access the syllabus and tentative lab and lecture schedules using the above link.

The optional course management website is Blackboard.  Blackboard will be available the first day of the semester (August 23).  
While Blackboard (Bb) is not required, I post lots of helpful information there, including PowerPoint presentations, course information, 
access to videos, grades, sample tests, exam keys, etc., so I strongly recommend that you use it.  It is free and available to all 
registered students.  To log in to Blackboard:

Go to http://bb8.canyons.edu/ (note - there is NO “www” in the URL address)

Your login is your 7-digit COC Student ID number, including any leading zeros

For example COC Student ID # 0123456, would login 0123456

Password is “student” (For current/past Blackboard students, use the current password you created)

After you log in, you need to change your password and enter your email address, which you can do using the Tools à Personal Information menu items.  There is a tutorial for Blackboard on the Distance Learning website as well.
