The purpose of the Biology Club is to enhance awareness, enjoyment, teaching and learning of the natural sciences and to support natural science endeavors of the Biology Department, the campus and our Community.

To whom it may concern,

The Biology Club at College of the Canyons is considered to be a professional club and is one of the more active student organizations on campus. Members are involved in workshops, hosting guest lectures, taking field trips, and conducting research. For most students this organization provides the opportunity to conduct publishable research. Currently we are working with the California Wild Heritage to assess the wildlife and environment in the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas using a type of analysis called a GAP analysis. We are also investigating visual cues in crustaceans and hope to present our finding at an upcoming Southern California Academy of Sciences meeting. Most of our activities is supported by income from fund raisers. The College of the Canyon’s Biology Club will be having a fund raiser in the near future and would greatly appreciate any contributions your company can provide. We are more than willing to advertise your product or program if you so desire.
