Description: Review of properties of real numbers, operations, linear equations and inequalities. Higher degree and rational equations and inequalities, functions, and graphs, systems of equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, binomial theorem, introduction to sequences and series, and applications. Designed to prepare the student for college-level mathematics and professional courses.
Prerequisite: One year of high school algebra with a grade of B or better and appropriate math placement as determined by the COC assessment process, or satisfactory completion of MATH 060.
