Richard Shelton was a student at Chouinard Art Institute, now known as Cal Arts.  Richard taught at Otis Art Institute, and this is where he met Christophe Cassidy, Arnaud Damasceno & Stacie Jaye Meyer.  Shelton has exhibited widely and his work is included in many public and private collections throughout the United States, including the Hirshhorn Museum.
